The new film in the Slam Dunk has had its title revealed: THE FIRST SLAM DUNK. According to reports, it will premiere on December 3rd in Japan.

The series is directed by Takehiko Inoue at Toei Animation studio , with character designs by Yasuyuki Ebara ( Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress )
Synopsis:
Hanamichi Sakuragi, a troubled young man, falls in love with the young Haruko Akagi after enrolling at Shohoku High School. From there, the headstrong Hanamichi begins to get involved in sports, joins a team, and develops as an athlete and a person.
Finally, the manga was published in Shonen Jump between 1990 and 1996, totaling 31 volumes. The work inspired an anime in 1993 and received four sequels.
