The official website for Sword art online II started releasing a new promotional video for this weekend. The video showcases the new opening song, " Ignite ", returning singer Eir Aoi .
The new series will adapt the third arc , Phantom Bullet Reki Kawahara 's original light novel . The new arc of the fifth and sixth volumes introduces the heroine Sinon and the already known protagonist Kirito .
The premiere in Japan will be on Tokyo, MX TV on July 5th at 11:30 am . Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Kirito , the protagonist of the anime's first season .
