The official website for Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy has released a new trailer for the anime , which premieres in October of this year. The trailer introduces the six main characters, along with the anime's opening theme song, "Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy ," sung by the five male leads as the group Minakami High School Heroes.
The story centers on Mizuki Hijiri , a high school girl who has just transferred to another school. At this new school, she has a fateful encounter with boys suffering from Chuunibyou (High School Crisis) : Noda , who dreams of becoming a hero; the tragically handsome otaku Takashima , who only likes 2D girls; Nakamura , the supposed "reincarnation" of an angel or demon; and the self-proclaimed puppeteer Tsukumo .
The anime is directed by Kazuya Ichikawa at DEEN . Midori Gotou is writing the scripts, while Yusa Matsuura is designing the characters. The music is composed by the group TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND , with Satoshi Motoyama serving as sound director.
