Synopsis:
The plot follows a group of high school students, who are also warriors with special divine abilities. They all participate in a tournament in which they must use the power given by the gods to fight against each other, with the strongest emerging victorious. The prize is the fulfillment of their greatest and most secret wish. However, they discover that there is a dark conspiracy behind it all.
The anime adaptation of God of High School will be directed by Sunghoo Park, with a screenplay by Kiyoko Yoshimura and a soundtrack by Arisa Okehazama, and produced by MAPPA . The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2020.
The partnership between Crunchyroll and WEBTOON has already yielded good results with the adaptation of Tower of God.
Furthermore, Gat Obeu Hai Seukul or The God of High School is a South Korean web manhwa written and illustrated by Yongje Park, published since April 2011 on WEBTOON.
