During the Gamescom 2013 event, the game Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII received a new trailer that shows the protagonist meeting new and old characters from the series.

In the game Lightning Returns , the main character will have to save the world in just 13 days, and will feature renewed mechanics and a large environment for exploration. The game will be released in the USA from February 11, 2014 with versions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
