The 2nd season of the anime Blue Lock (BLUE LOCK VS. U-20 JAPAN) has received a new action-packed trailer.

Blue Lock Synopsis:

The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Union to launch a program to recruit high school players to begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi , a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team missed out on the national championship. But his coach, Ego Jinpachi , intends to "end Japan's failed football" by introducing a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock" and putting them through rigorous training with the goal of creating "the best striker in the world."

The first season was directed by Blue Lock and Tetsuaki Watanabe at 8Bits (Grisaia no Kajitsu, Tokyo Ravens, Grisaia no Rakuen), the animation is by Kenji Tanabe and Kento Totani .

manga finally debuted in Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018 by authors Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura .
