During the Super Bowl 2014 event held this Sunday, The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro received a new and exciting trailer lasting almost four minutes.

This second film will reveal Peter Park's father's secrets, and Oscorp will reveal itself as New York's biggest supplier of villains. Now that young Peter has taken on the mask of the famous hero, he realizes that the more he fights to defend the city, the more people want to take him down, and the villains become increasingly powerful and deadly.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, opens on May 2, 2014. The third and fourth films will open in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
