The official website for the anime TokuNana (or Special Crime Investigation Unit – Special 7 ) revealed a new visual poster and trailer for the anime on Wednesday. The anime will premiere on October 6th.
Anime Synopsis:
“Long ago, dragons ruled the world of elves, vampires, homunculi, and humans. In the present, the dragons have disappeared, so those who remain have chosen to live alongside them, assimilating their appearances to those of humans. In the year 2x19, Tokyo is mostly peaceful, but a group called "The Nine" causes chaos in their quest to obtain the dragons' power and change the world. The police form a unit made up of various professionals to fight the Nine; the Special Crime Investigation Unit – Special 7 (Tokunana). These individuals have abilities that surpass those of ordinary humans, to the extent that there are rumors of a rebellion against them. A rookie, Seiji Nanatsuki, joins the unit. While provoked by the other members with various personalities, he tries to solve the case involving The Nine with his brilliant mind and straightforward thinking. Can he find justice in the worst of circumstances?
The anime is directed by Harume Kosaka , written by Yuuchirou Higashide , and composed by Ryou Takahashi . Nanae Chrono provided the original character designs, while Hiroya Iijima adapted the designs. The opening theme song, "Take On Fever," is performed by the band OLDCODEX .
