Violet Evergarden is written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase (Hibike! Euphonium), and was first published on December 25, 2015. The series, which currently has approximately 2 volumes, is still ongoing.
The story follows the character of the same name. She is an Auto Memories Doll , a robot made to help people who cannot write their thoughts down on paper. Throughout her life, Violet meets many people and connects many hearts through her letters. Although her time with each person is short, the bonds formed during that time will not be easily forgotten.
