Violet Evergarden is written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase (Hibike! Euphonium), and was first published on December 25, 2015. The work containing about 2 volumes is currently active.
The story follows the character of the same name. She is an Auto Memories Doll , a robot designed to help people who can't write their thoughts down. Throughout her life, Violet meets many people and connects many hearts through her letters. Although her time with each person is short, the bonds formed during her time there will not be easily forgotten.
