Koisuru Asteroid anime adaptation has released a new poster for the series. The anime premieres in January 2020.
Koisuru Asteroid , a manga by Quro, has been published in Manga Time Kirara Carat since the beginning of 2017, and has 2 published volumes. The adaptation is being handled by studio Doga Kobo , with direction by Daisuke Hiramaki , script by Yuka Yamada , and character design by Jun Yamazaki .
Synopsis of the anime:
"When she was little, Mira Kinohata met a boy named Ao at a city camp. While they were observing the starry sky together, Mira discovered that there is a star with her name, but none with the name Ao. The two then promised that one day they would explore the asteroids together and find a star to name after them.".
Several years later, Mira begins high school at Hoshizaki Academy and decides to join the astronomy club to fulfill her promise. However, she discovers that the astronomy club has merged with the geological research society's club to form the Earth Science club. Reluctantly, Mira goes to the club room and is reunited with Ao Manaka
—the person with whom she promised to explore asteroids—and is shocked to discover that she is a girl!
