NewPOP announces publication of the manga Taiyou no Ie

The publisher NewPOP announced, in a live broadcast this Thursday (7), the publication of the shoujo manga Taiyou no Ie (The House of the Sun, in free translation). The work, written and illustrated by Taamo , was serialized in Japan between 2010 and 2015 in Kodansha's Dessert magazine. In 2014, the production also won the award for best shoujo at the Kodansha Manga Award. The Brazilian edition will have 13 volumes.

According to NewPOP, while having a light and funny tone, the manga also addresses, with well-constructed characters, deeper issues, such as family relationships and marital problems. As pointed out in the live, the choice for this title also comes from the publisher's desire to break some stereotypes associated with shoujo productions and, in this way, take them to other audiences.

The work does not yet have a title in Portuguese and, for now, there is no release date. Taiyou no Ie is part of the Sakura label, aimed at the shoujo and josei demographics. Other manga, such as Perfect World , by Rie Aruga, have also been announced under the same label.

Synopsis:

Mao is a girl who suffers from her absent family, causing her to go to her brothers Hina, Daiki and Hiro's house and spend much more time with them than at her own house. But an accident occurs with his friends' parents, and the house that was once full of joy has been overcome by sadness. But something unexpected happens and Hiro invites her to live with him in that house that was once full of love and happiness. Thus, two people with many wounds in their hearts will do everything to get that house back to what it was before.
