Manga artist Namori announced via Twitter that her Yuruyuri will be adapted into an anime, indicating a third season. Fans who follow the manga have been incredibly supportive, and Namori thanked them and asked them to continue following Yuruyuri.
The manga launched in Comic Yuri Hime S on June 12, 2008, before being moved to Comic Yuri Hime in September 2010. An anime adaptation created by Dogakobo aired in Japan between July and September 2011; the series' second season aired between July and September 2012.
The series has two seasons, the first was shown in 2011. The second edition came in 2012 and maintained the same success, closing with more than 7 thousand copies sold/volume.
