After the conclusion of Persona 4 – The Animation and the arrival of its film in theaters , fans have finally received news about Persona 3. The feature film, announced for 2013, has just gained an official website in Japan, in addition to releasing its first promotional image.
The film is called Persona 3 The Movie #1: Spring of Birth and marks the beginning of the cinematic adaptation of the game's original story. Production is handled by AIC ASTA , the same studio responsible for the animation of Persona 4, which raises audience expectations.
The direction is in the hands of Noriyaki Akitaya , known for his work on Bakuman. Meanwhile, overall supervision is by Seiji Kishi , a name directly associated with the success of Persona 4 and also involved in Devil Survivor 2.
Another important highlight is the soundtrack, composed by Shoji Meguro , a classic composer for the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. In this way, the film maintains the series' distinctive musical identity.
The voice cast includes big names such as Akira Ishida, Megumi Toyoguchi, Rie Tanaka, Mamiko Noto, and Miyuki Sawashiro. Finally, a teaser has already been released, further increasing the fans' curiosity.
