Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster News

Square Enix Final Fantasy's Final Fantasy X | X-2 will receive an HD remaster for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, scheduled for release on December 26th. The games will be available in several versions:

-Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD for PlayStation 3
-Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD twin pack for PlayStation Vita
-And a limited edition Final Fantasy X/X-2 in HD with Box resolution and an original design variant for the PlayStation Vita system.

Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will also be sold separately for the PS Vita. Square Enix has also confirmed that these releases will include HD remasters of Final Fantasy X: Eien no Nagi-setsu (Eternal Calm) and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission.

The Last Mission was included in the Final Fantasy X-2 International Edition. It includes two new orbs, an additional quest, and the ability to capture monsters and characters from Final Fantasy X. The game also includes approximately 60 remixed tracks of original Final Fantasy X music, the soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu and Noriko Matsueda, and the original Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack by Takahito Eguchi.

Square Enix's high-definition remaster of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 will arrive on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the United States and Europe this year. Those who pre-order the game in Europe and North America will receive a limited-edition artbook.
