The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have announced new information about the highly anticipated Pokémon Sun and Moon game , including details on powerful Z-Moves and some of the characters and Pokémon players will encounter as they journey through the Alola region.
Z-Moves promise to be one of the biggest differentiators of this new generation. They function as special attacks, unlocked via a Z-Crystal and activated during battles to deal massive damage. Each Pokémon type will have access to specific moves, adding a new strategic layer to gameplay.
Additionally, we've revealed some of the characters who will be featured in the story, including gym leaders and important figures from the region. We've also confirmed new Pokémon native to Alola, with designs inspired by tropical elements and Hawaiian mythology.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18 in North America and November 23 in Europe for Nintendo 3DS. Anticipation is high, as the franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary with this new generation that promises to reinvent the classic formula without losing its essence.
