NieR Automata has been one of the biggest highlights of this season, having already gained a following of fans thanks to its games. That said, a scene suggested in episode 3 has worried several fans online, including some in Japan.
The suggestive scene was seen in the anime's third episode, shocking the community. However, it's important to note that the scene isn't related to the character 2B , but rather refers to a scene in which a group of machines investigate human cultures to try to recreate our behavior.

Although this scene is what has gotten the Japanese community talking on this occasion, the excellent work of the video game's original soundtrack, the frenetic fights, and the fidelity to the original work are topics that have been actively mentioned on social media.
Check out some comments:
- I've played too much NieR to think of this as "normal"
- I didn't know this scene existed...
- Is this a maternity/reproduction training area for robots?
- It was quite a game, so it seems like it will become a trauma animation in a sense??
Directed by Ryouji Masuyama (Blend S, Hello WeGo!) at A-1 Pictures (Lycoris Recoil), CG by Yuusuke Noma and cinematography by Toshiaki Aoshima.
