NieR Automata – Scene +18 with robots worries fans

NieR Automata has been one of the biggest highlights of this season as it already has a wave of fans due to its games. That said, a scene suggested +18 in episode 3 worried many fans on the internet, including the Japanese themselves.

The +18 suggestive scene was seen in the third episode of the anime, which shocked the community. However, it is important to note that the scene is not related to character 2B , but refers to a scene in which a group of machines investigate human cultures to try to recreate our behavior.

Although on this occasion it was this scene that got everyone talking in the Japanese community, the excellent work of the video game's original soundtrack, the frantic fights and the fidelity to the original work are themes that have been actively mentioned on the networks.

Check out some comments:

  • I played too much NieR to think of it as “normal”
  • I didn't know this scene existed...
  • Is this a maternity/reproductive training area for robots?
  • It was quite a game, so it looks like it will become a trauma animation in a sense??

Directed by Ryouji Masuyama (Blend S, Hello WeGo!) at studio A-1 Pictures (Lycoris Recoil), CG by Yuusuke Noma and photography by Toshiaki Aoshima.
