Synopsis

NieR:Automata's narrative revolves around androids 2B, 9S, and A2, who find themselves in a battle to reclaim a machine-controlled dystopia infested with powerful mechanical entities. Humanity, in turn, has been banished from Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a last-ditch effort to reclaim the planet, the human resistance dispatches a team of android soldiers to annihilate the invaders. Thus, an ongoing war between machines and androids unfolds, poised to reveal a long-forgotten truth about the world.
