The manga Ninja to Gokudou ( Ninja vs Gokudo ), written and illustrated by Shinsuke Kondō, had its anime adaptation announced this Monday (24).
Ninja to Gokudou Synopsis:
Since ancient times, ninjas and yakuza have been at war, spilling blood across the world as empires rise and fall. So, in the present day, when Shinoha, a ninja, meets Kiwami, a gangster who follows the yakuza path—gokudo—and discovers they have common interests, the obvious conclusion is that nothing good can come of it. But can a blossoming friendship shake a 300-year-old grudge? Who will truly win the fight for ultimate power?
Written and illustrated by Shinsuke Kondō, Ninja vs. Gokudo began serialization on Kodansha's Comic Days website on January 20, 2020. Its chapters have eventually been collected into fourteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2024.
