Nintendo warns that Switch 2 film should not be removed

Nintendo released a recommendation to buyers of Nintendo Switch 2 who hits stores on Thursday June 5. Fixed layer protects the user from glass fragments

The Nintendo Switch 2 film is an anti -artist layer. The material is designed to keep the glass fragments glued to the screen if the panel suffers impact damage. This prevents shrapnel from spreading and can cause injuries.

Unlike traditional protectors sold on the market, this film is glued to the factory and fulfills a safety function. According to Nintendo, its removal may compromise console integrity and user protection.

The alert is not unheard of. Anterior models like Switch OLED already featured a similar layer. However, the company reinforced the warning in the face of consumer doubts about the presence of the film in the new device.

Nintendo guides on ideal temperature and care with Joy-Con

In addition to the film Nintendo advises that Nintendo Switch 2 be used at temperatures between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. Also, another important caution is to charge the battery at least once every six months even when the console is stored.

Joy-Con also requires attention. The company recommends using handles to avoid accidental falls during the game. There is also an alert so that adhesives are not collected on the side buttons. This can interfere with the magnets that hold controls to the body of the device.
