Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 began this Wednesday (30) in Brazil. Amazon and Kabum are selling the new Nintendo console with delivery scheduled for June 5, the global launch date.

The device arrives on the national market for R$ 4,799.90, with the Mario Kart World game included in the digital package. Stores offer different payment options, including discounts for cash payments via Pix.

Retailers offer differentiated payment terms

Amazon retailer guarantees free shipping for Prime customers and ensures the lowest price during the pre-sale period.

At Kabum, the product is sold in 10 installments of R$ 479.90 without interest, or for R$ 4,463.07 via Pix. Mercado Livre also announced the pre-sale, but without complete details about commercial conditions at the moment.

Deliveries of orders are scheduled for June 5th, coinciding with the worldwide launch of the console.

The new model brings visual improvements and new features

The Switch 2 comes with a larger screen, two USB-C connectors, and 256 GB of internal storage. The technical highlight is its support for 4K resolution and HDR effects, which enhance the visual experience in games.

The console also features a new magnetic Joy-Con and a dedicated button for GameChat, a voice and video communication feature — with a camera sold separately.

Major releases bolster the console's catalog

Among the titles confirmed for release are Mario Kart World, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Cyberpunk 2077. Also on the list are Metroid Prime 4, Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade, Hades 2, and Pokémon Legends ZA.

Even with the arrival of the new model, Nintendo guarantees that it will continue releasing games and updates for the original Switch. The strategy aims to keep the installed base active and avoid the immediate obsolescence of its predecessor.
