New model brings visual improvements and new features

The Switch 2 features a larger screen, two USB-C ports, and 256GB of internal storage. Its technical highlights include support for 4K resolution and HDR effects, which elevate the visual experience in games.

The console also features a new magnetic Joy-Con and a dedicated button for GameChat, a voice and video communication feature — with a camera sold separately.

Major releases reinforce the console's catalog

Among the titles confirmed for launch are Mario Kart World, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Donkey Kong Bananza and Cyberpunk 2077. Also on the list are Metroid Prime 4, Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade, Hades 2 and Pokémon Legends ZA.

Even with the arrival of the new model, Nintendo promises to continue releasing games and updates for the original Switch. This strategy aims to maintain the active installed base and prevent its predecessor from becoming immediately obsolete.
