Nintendo Switch 2 starts pre-ordering games and bundles in Brazil

Nintendo opened pre-orders this week for its first games and upgrade packs for the new Nintendo Switch 2 in Brazil. The options, which range from R$59.90 to R$499.90, are currently only available digitally, but the prices will be the same for physical versions.

Nintendo included Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and the Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour bundle among its major releases. Thus, with the console's arrival, fan anticipation grows, fueled by new details revealed by the company.

Games range from revamped classics to highly anticipated releases

The initial catalog features four main games and four enhancement packs. Mario Kart World, the most expensive on the list, costs R$499.90 and will be released alongside the console. Donkey Kong Bananza, another strong Nintendo bet, will be available starting July 17th, priced at R$439.90.

For those looking for more affordable options, the Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is available for R$59.90, ideal for new players to familiarize themselves with the device's new features. Additionally, Kirby and the Forgotten Land returns in an updated version, accompanied by the Star-Crossed World pack, for R$119.90.

Nintendo also confirmed enhancement packs for the two most recent titles in The Legend of Zelda series. Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will have console-specific updates, both costing R$59.90.

Nintendo Switch 2 news includes updated controllers and new accessories

During the special Nintendo Direct presentation for the Switch 2, the company revealed the Joy-Con 2, redesigned controllers featuring the new "C" button. This controller will be dedicated to GameChat, a new tool for communication between players during online matches.

In addition to the company's exclusive games, the company announced that titles from partner studios will also be added to the catalog. Among them are Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring, reinforcing its strategy of expanding the console's audience.

Additionally, Nintendo confirmed new accessories to complement the experience. The company unveiled an updated Pro Controller and a dedicated camera, which promise to expand the Switch 2's functionality beyond traditional gaming.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for release on June 5, 2025. Anticipation is high, driven by the robust launch catalog and the announced improvements to the gaming experience.
