The new adventure features a protagonist destined to become the next Shogun, facing yokai in bloody and strategic combat. Highlights include two distinct fighting styles, showcasing the mastery of the Samurai and the agility of the Ninja. Additionally, the map now offers open areas for exploration, deepening the player experience. Players can try all these new features for free until June 18th.

New combat styles expand the experience
Nioh 3 features two battle approaches that can be switched at any time. The Samurai style maintains the essence of the franchise, with direct strikes, precise blocks, and new mechanics such as Deflect and Arts Proficiency. These additions make close combat even more challenging and strategic, demanding quick reflexes and movement reading.
On the other hand, the Ninja style offers faster and more evasive gameplay. Techniques like Mist, which creates an illusory clone, and Evade, which allows you to narrowly escape enemy attacks, make the style ideal for those who prefer constant movement. Furthermore, switching between styles offers tactical freedom, allowing for adaptations according to the type of enemy or terrain encountered.

Open world and more challenging yokai
Unlike previous titles, Nioh 3 focuses on an open world full of possibilities, combining exploration with brutal combat. The settings range from cursed villages to battle zones dominated by supernatural forces. Thus, players can investigate secrets, avoid traps, and face increasingly complex enemies.
Among the highlights of the new setting is The Crucible, a challenging area where survival depends on preparation and strategy. The aim is to create an atmosphere of constant tension, where every encounter can be fatal and every step requires heightened attention.
Free demo now available on PS5
The Nioh 3 demo is now available for free download and will remain available until June 18th. According to the developer, the goal is to gather as much community feedback as possible to polish the game before its full release. This will allow players to test the new combat styles, explore the open world, and even try out the character creation system.
Participation in the test includes filling out a feedback form on the official website, reinforcing Team Ninja's commitment to the public. Furthermore, the studio promises to listen to the community, adjusting details based on player suggestions to deliver the most ambitious title in the franchise to date.
