The 22nd volume of Ayumi Ishii 's historical manga Nobunaga Concerto revealed that the series will end with its 23rd volume.
Ishii launched the manga in the inaugural issue of Gessan in 2009. The manga ranked 10th in the male readership category of “ Kono Manga ga Sugoi! ” and was nominated for the fifth Manga Taisho Awards in 2012, and won the Boys Category of the 57th Shogakukan Manga Awards later that year.
anime adaptation of the work premiered in Japan in July 2014, followed by a live-action in October of the same year.
