The latest issue of Monthly Action revealed that Azure Konno's Nobunaga-sensei no Osanazuma (Mr. Nobunaga's Young Bride) manga will end in the magazine's next issue on August 24.
The manga is a romantic comedy that revolves around Nobunaga, a high school teacher who constantly dreams of a beautiful and adorable girl who will one day appear in front of him. One day, Kichō, the 14-year-old wife of the real-life Sengoku (War of the States) leader Oda Nobunaga, appears in front of her after having apparently traveled through time. She confuses the current Nobunaga with the historical Oda Nobunaga and tries to get him to impregnate her.
Konno launched the manga in Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine in May 2017. Futabasha published the manga's fourth compiled book book on March 12. The anime premiered on April 6.
The direction is by Noriyoshi Sasaki (Ojisan to Marshmallow, My Wife is the Student Council President+!, King's Game The Animation, Holmes of Kyoto), the story is by Arikura Arika (Shūdengo, Capsule Hotel de, Jōshi ni Binetsu Tsutawaru Yoru.) and the character design is by Takashi Nishikawa (animation director of Strange+, Holmes of Kyoto).
