Hey, my name is Anna, my hobbies are reading manga sometimes, watching series or anime, reading or playing League of Legends, and occasionally...

It was announced this Saturday (11) that the anime Non Non Biyori will have a third season of the anime for TV “greenlit” at the event “Nyanpasu Matsuri Vacation Nanon!” which was focused on this. The anime’s official website started streaming the promotional video (below) for the anime announcement.

Atto's manga Non Non Biyori has already inspired two television seasons and two original anime DVDs. The first TV series, directed by Shinya Kawatsura and produced by the anime studio SILVER LINK (WATAMOTE, Baka e Test – Summon the Beasts), premiered in 2013, while the second season premiered in 2015.

The manga also inspired an animated film titled Non Non Biyori Vacation, which tells the story of the "Okinawa Trip" arc from Atto's manga, premiering in Japan on August 25, 2018.

The story takes place in the countryside, where the nearest bookstore is a 20-minute bike ride away, a certain magazine called "Ju_p" comes out on Wednesdays instead of Mondays, and the video rental store is 10 train stations away. Hotaru Ichijo transfers from Tokyo to this rural school and readjusts to the slow pace of country life. Her classmates are Natsumi, Komari, Renge, and Komari's older brother, Suguru, who is in his third year of high school.

Atto launched the manga in Kadokawa's monthly Comic Alive magazine in 2009, and Kadokawa published the manga's 13th compiled volume on November 21.
