The official Twitter account related to the anime Non Non Biyori is announcing that the series will get a second season, the announcement was made at the anime's fan event in Japan.

The story of the first season follows Hotaru Ichijou , who moved with her parents from Tokyo to the countryside. Now, she must adapt to her new school, where there are a total of five students in the same class, ranging from middle school to high school.

Atto launched the manga in Monthly Comic in 2009, and Media Factory published the sixth volume in September. The TV series by director Shinya Kawamo in collaboration with anime studio SILVER LINK (WATAMOTE, Baka and Test) premiered in October of last year.
