According to a publication in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen magazine, “ Noragami ” will get a second season, and in the magazine it was announced that the team from the first season will return for the new project.

The story of the first season revolves around Yato, whose dream is to have a lot of followers worship him and pray with him. Unfortunately, his dream is far from becoming a reality since he doesn't even have a single shrine dedicated to him. To make matters worse, the only partner he had who helped him solve people's problems had just left work.
In this scenario, Yato comes across Hiyori, a girl who is secretly a fan of martial arts. In his first encounter with her, Yato is “saved” when Hiyori stops him from being hit by a truck, but she is hit instead. From that moment on, Hiyori finds herself between two worlds.
