Toei Animation released the trailer for its new adaptation of Notari Matsutaro on its official website. In February, it was revealed that an anime adaptation by author Tetsuya Chiba would be coming to the small screen.

The series focuses on the ancient Japanese sport of Sumo. The anime is scheduled to begin airing on April 6th on TV Asahi , taking the place of Saint Seiya Omega (Knights of the Zodiac: Omega).

The Manga was released around 1973 to 1993 and then returned in the year 1995 to 1998 in the magazine “Big Comic”.
