With the end of the famous Saint Seiya Omega series, it was officially announced by Toei Animation that Notari Matsutaro will hit the small screens in Japan.
Toei has revealed that an anime adaptation of the manga Notari Matsutaro by Tetsuya Chiba , the same creator of Ashita no Jō, is in production. The series focuses on the ancient Japanese sport of Sumo. The anime is scheduled to begin airing on April 6th on TV Asahi , taking the place of Saint Seiya Omega (Knights of the Zodiac: Omega).
The Manga was released around 1973 to 1993 and then returned in the year 1995 to 1998 in the magazine “Big Comic”.
