Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho is the new anime based on a light novel coming in 2017!
The light novel Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho by author Kakeru Kobashiri illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma will get an anime, scheduled to arrive in spring 2017. See the official website .
The production is in charge of Tetsuo Hirakawa (Kawa no Hikari, Hori-san) who directs the series at White Fox studios. Ryosuke Kimiya Animation director (Akame ga KILL!) and Daisuke Mataga character designer (Sakasama no Patema) are to adapt Shizuma's original character designs for animation.
A “Magic//fantasy” style series based on the novel, Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho follows a witch named “Zero” who is unaware of the world and a half-beast, half-human mercenary who wants to be human. Witches who practice witchcraft exist in the world, however, in this era no one knows about the art of studying witchcraft. Zero sets out on a journey to search for a magical tome called “The Book of Zero” that hides a power that could destroy the world. The mercenary travels with her as her guard.

Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho romance series 20th Dengeki Novel Awards in 2013. Author Kobashiri and his illustrator Shizuma launched the series in 2013 where Kadokawa published the seventh volume of the novel on August 10. Takeshi Iwasaki launched an adaptation of the manga in Dengeki Maoh in 2014, and Kadokawa published the fourth compiled volume on August 9. Yasutake released the Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahō nano no Sho! spinoff manga adaptation in Dengeki Maoh in October, and the first compiled volume will be released on October 8.
