My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho is the new anime based on a light novel coming in 2017!

The light novel Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho by author Kakeru Kobashiri illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma will get an anime, scheduled to arrive in spring 2017. See the official website.

The production is being handled by Tetsuo Hirakawa (Kawa no Hikari, Hori-san), who is directing the series at White Fox studios. Animation director Ryosuke Kimiya (Akame ga KILL!) and character designer Daisuke Mataga (Sakasama no Patema) are adapting Shizuma's original character designs for the animation.

The "Magic/Fantasy" series, based on the novel Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, follows a witch named "Zero" who is unfamiliar with the world and a half-beast, half-human mercenary who wants to be human. Witches who practice sorcery exist in the world; however, in this era, no one knows about the art of studying witchcraft. Zero embarks on a journey to find a magical tome called "The Book of Zero," which hides a power that could destroy the world. The mercenary travels with her as her bodyguard.
