Now it's official! Ben Affleck becomes the new Batman of cinema!
Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck was the actor chosen to play the new movie Batman alongside Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) in the first production that will bring together the two DC Comics . He will play Bruce Wayne in the sequel to Man of Steel, a film that will pit Batman against Superman!
Still without a defined name, the new production will be the sequel to Man of Steel and will bring Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen, continuing the director's vision of his DC universe, established in “Man of Steel”.
The announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President of Creative Development and Production, and Sue Kroll, President of Marketing and Distribution, Warner Bros.
The film is released on July 17, 2015.
