It was also mentioned that manga creator and master Akira Toriyama is personally working on the original concept , script , and character designs for this new film .
Toriyama confirmed in the magazine that this new film, like its predecessor Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods , will tell a new story. He intended to have this story during the series based on the manga . Although he hadn't planned it , he will not only put a great deal of effort into the art, but also into " stirring up the dialogue ." He also promised more action and even joked that the story is a complete secret , but will be " totally hilarious ."
To emphasize the effort he dedicated to this new film, Toriyama said that even his first manga editor praised the work he has done , although this editor rarely does so.
