The Japanese company Pony Canyon announced on Monday that the manga Ojou to Banken-kun ( A Girl & Her Guard Dog anime adaptation in 2023 .

Synopsis
Senagaki Isaku is a first-year high school student and granddaughter of the head of the Senagaki family, a Yakuza group. Because of this, she has always been afraid of everything around her, but from now on she wants to be able to have friends and fall in love with normal people. To do this, Isaku-chan decides to study at a school far from her city, not to mention that the overprotective Utou Keiya (a 26-year-old member of the gangster group) has no intention of letting any boy get close and goes after her, enrolling in the same school lying about his age. And so the love story begins!

Author Hatsuharu launched the manga in Bessatsu Friend in December 2018. Kodansha will publish the eighth volume of the manga in Japan this Thursday.
