Early on, Gaban reveals that the sacred knights are not invincible , encouraging Luffy to improve his Haki of the conqueror. He also comments that more than one member of the straw hats is able to use this Haki. Sanji believes he is chosen, but Gaban heads to Zoro, which Luffy had been suspected for a long time.
Meanwhile, Hajrudin refuses to free Loki , but Luffy is surprised to invite the giant prince to join his crew. That would put Hajrudin in a position where he would need to free Loki . However, Zoro, Sanji, Hajrudin and even Loki disagree with this bold Luffy plan.
One Piece 1152 and Gaban's intense revelation
Gaban then makes a bombastic revelation: he, Loki and Hajrudin were in Elbaf with Shanks during the events of that "terrible day . From there, we plunged into a flashback that comes back 14 years in time.
In this return to the past, we see Loki confronting King Harald about his alliance with the world government - the same ones who destroyed Rocks D. Xebec. Upon arriving at the castle, Loki finds Harald pierced by his own soldiers in a shocking betrayal.
In parallel, Shanks tells Gaban that he had a strong connection with Harald and wants to find him again. In this same period, a mysterious figure steals a legendary devil fruit in Elbaf , further increasing the climate of tension.
The chapter ends with an even older flashback 109 years ago , where we see a young and impetuous Harald causing destruction in a human kingdom.
