McDonald's promoted its new sandwiches in Japan, featuring the character Zeff as the centerpiece of the ad. The campaign was run in Shibuya as a poster, featuring Zeff in his ridiculously large chef's hat alongside the brand's new sandwiches. Zeff was a very creative choice for the campaign, as he's one of the best chefs in One Piece.
Zeff was Sanji's master, also known as "Black Leg," and the Straw Hats' chef. Sanji considers Zeff his own father because he taught him how to cook and fight, and risked his life to save his daughter. Zeff was once a famous pirate, but he put that career aside when he lost his leg. Since then, he took Sanji in and opened his own restaurant, Baratie.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a rubber body after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, he becomes a pirate and sets sail across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
