McDonalds released its new sandwiches in Japan, using the character Zeff as the highlight of the ad. The campaign was shot in Shibuya in poster format, highlighting Zeff in the center with his ridiculously large chef's hat along with the brand's new snacks. Zeff was a very creative choice for the campaign as he is one of the best cooks in One Piece.
Zeff was the master of Sanji, also known as “Blackleg” and the Straw Hats' cook. Sanji considers Zeff to be his own father because he taught him how to cook, fight, and risked his life to save her. In the past, Zeff was a famous pirate, but he put that career aside when he lost his leg. Since then, he took Sanji in and opened his own restaurant, Baratie.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). He was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
