After a long wait, the One Piece is back with a bang! Last weekend, fans were surprised with two episodes of the highly anticipated Egghead Arc . And as if that weren't enough, the series also gifted readers with a beautiful color illustration to mark this grand return.
In the illustration, we see the Straw Hat Pirates gathered on a couch, excited as they watch several TVs showing Luffy . A curious detail is the digital clock next to it, which indicates the anime's new nighttime airing time in Japan.
However, the art accompanying chapter 1145 of the manga was signed by Midori Matsuda , key animator and animation director who has worked on the main episodes of the series, including all the openings of the Wano Arc and the most recent Egghead with the music of Gre4n Boyz .
Eiichiro Oda 's traditional artwork , this illustration adopts the anime's visual style, offering fans a fresh perspective. Midori Matsuda is also responsible for the series' adorable new eyecatchers, and we hope to see more of her work soon.
However, episode 1123 reopens the proceedings with a brief recap and a resumption of the action, while episode 1124 — "All Out Siege! Egghead Breaks!" will air on Sunday, April 6, 2025 , at 10:15 a.m. ET . Both will be available on Crunchyroll , maintaining the traditional weekly Sunday release schedule.
