Bandai Namco Entertainment, Shueisha and Toei Animation have confirmed that they will once again hold “One Piece Day,” a two-day event commemorating the anniversary of the debut of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga.
'One Piece Day' event has its date set
The event will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight Convention Center on July 21st and 22nd, and will be broadcast live on YouTube worldwide.
Since 2017, the Japan Anniversary Association has recognized July 22 as "One Piece Day", commemorating the anniversary of the manga's debut (although the manga actually launched on July 19, 1997, it was announced as having been released on July 22).
One Piece Day took place between July 22nd and 23rd last year, with a live broadcast on YouTube.
