The annual One Piece Day will take place next month in Japan and its new promotional ad has attracted attention for including Luffy 's Gear 5 . So it looks like the scene of the One Piece protagonist awakening to his new form will be shown at the event.

The new One Piece Day 2023 announcement exclusively highlights an art of Luffy using Gear 5. Furthermore, the anime adaptation is close to catching up with the manga chapter in which he awakens this transformation. Therefore, this announcement could be a hint that they will present a clip with Luffy using Gear 5 for the first time in the anime.
Luffy currently only used Gear 5 in the manga and in a quick scene in the film One Piece: Red , but he hasn't used it in the anime yet. Gear 5 is Luffy's strongest transformation which he acquired in his final battle against Kaido Wano arc .
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). He was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
