One Piece Day event will take place next month in Japan, and its latest promotional announcement has drawn attention for including Luffy 's Gear 5. It seems the scene of the One Piece protagonist awakening his new form will be shown at the event.

The new One Piece Day 2023 announcement exclusively features artwork of Luffy using Gear 5. Furthermore, the anime adaptation is nearing the manga chapter where he awakens this transformation. Therefore, this announcement could be a hint that they will present a clip of Luffy using Gear 5 for the first time in the anime.
Currently, Luffy has only used Gear 5 in the manga and in a quick scene in the movie One Piece: Red , but he hasn't used it in the anime yet. Gear 5 is Luffy's strongest transformation, which he acquired in his final battle against Kaido Wano arc .
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubber Fruit). He was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red-Haired, to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the King of the Pirates.
