Eiichiro Oda personally confirmed that Netflix has renewed the live-action One Piece for a 2nd season, in addition to bringing in a long-awaited character, Tony Tony Chopper . So the Straw Hat reindeer doctor is officially confirmed in the series.

The new Netflix video features the creator of the work, Eiichiro Oda, to announce the 2nd season of One Piece. However, to the delight of fans, the mangaka also reveals that Chopper will make his live-action debut. In other words, the next season will probably adapt the Alabasta , where Luffy meets Chopper and recruits him as his gang's doctor.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Since he was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, Luffy decided to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
Eiichiro Oda began serializing One Piece in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. Since then, his manga has grown in surprising ways to become the huge phenomenon it is today. As its history grew, the work reached more than 1000 chapters and 100 volumes of manga published in 25 years. Even though it is such an extensive series, One Piece became the best-selling manga in history.
