What happened in One Piece's episode 1127?
The episode begins shortly after Kizaru throws Luffy against Egghead's protective shield. In response, Luffy activates his Gear 5, captures the Admiral and throwing him out of the island! Even so, Kizaru - keeping the usual calm - returns flying and resumes the battle.
The great revelation is that Gear 5 allows Luffy to finally equalize Kizaru's speed and strength, something his Gear Fourth couldn't.
