The official website for the highly anticipated film One Piece Gold has released the film's trailer where it reveals that Akainu (Sakazuki) will make a small appearance in the film. One Piece Gold is scheduled to premiere in Japanese cinemas on July 23.
The story follows Gild Tezoro, a casino owner who controls the huge golden ship called the Gran Tezoro. Akuma no mi user who ate the “Gol Gol fruit.” He is an extremely rich man, who is said to own 20% of all the “Beli” ( One Piece ) that exists in the world.
Hiroaki Miyamoto, assistant director of One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island is directing the film, and Tsutomu Kuroiwa (live action Black Butler and Liar Game: The Final Stage) is writing the script. Eiichiro Oda is executive producer of the film.
The film was announced in August last year, while the last film in the Luffy and co saga was “One Piece Movie Z” which arrived in Japan in December 2012.
