Netflix has released a new behind-the-scenes video from One Piece , featuring Iñaki Godoy meeting Mayumi Tanaka , the original voice of Monkey D. Luffy in the anime. So, we practically have two Luffys meeting.

While Iñaki Godoy was traveling through Japan, he had the opportunity to meet the illustrious Mayumi Tanaka, who has been voicing Luffy since 1999. Godoy expressed great excitement and gratitude for meeting the voice actress. Furthermore, in Japan, the anime's original voice cast will be dubbing the live-action series. Tanaka will also voice Godoy in the Japanese version of One Piece.
Finally, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series premieres on August 31st on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a rubber body after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, Luffy decided to become a pirate and set sail across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
