Netflix has finally revealed the cast for its upcoming adaptation of the hit anime One Piece . According to reports , actors Iñaki Godoy , Mackenyu , Emily Rudd , Jacob Romero Gibson , and Taz Skylar have been cast in the project.

Therefore, the series is produced in South Africa to premiere in early 2022. Eiichiro Oda oversees the series personally, with Matt Owens (Agents of SHIELD, Luke Cage) as writer / executive producer in co-production.
Synopsis:
The series centers on Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who, inspired by his childhood idol and powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, sets out on a journey across the East Blue Sea to find the famous treasure One Piece and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
Filming for the series finally began in August 2020 in Cape Town, South Africa. Filming was initially expected to last six months.
