The first teaser for the live-action One Piece made a lot of impressions on fans, with some liking it and others not. The same happened with Korean One Piece fans, who had divided opinions after watching the series' teaser.
One Piece – Live-action teaser leaves Korean fans with divided opinions
Pannchoa, the website that translates trending Korean news and pop culture content, translated the Korean One Piece fanbase's opinion on the live-action teaser. It is therefore clear that the teaser generated opinions divided between positive and negative at the same time. While some praise the quality of the series, others criticize the actors' costumes, saying they look like cosplays.

Anyway, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series premieres on August 31st on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). But he was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
