One Piece: Unlimited World Red game revealed for 3DS

unlimited-world-redIn this year's 26th issue of Shonen Jump Weekly , it was revealed this Monday that a new Nintendo 3DS game called “One Piece Unlimited WOrld Red”. Namco Bandai Games is developing a “multi action-adventure” title. Namco does not yet have a specific date or price for this new game. The game will be the first title in three years in the “unlimited” series of games based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda.

The game will allow up to 4 players to play together, and the announcement says that players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. The ad image has Luffy fighting a dragon from the Punk Hazard arc, and also says that players can fish, catch insects, and hunt for treasure in minigames with up to 4 players.
The announcement on the page also reveals that another game called “One Piece Romance Dawn: Bōken no Yoake” RPG will arrive for Nintendo 3DS. Which will be released in Japan from August 8th. For PSP, the launch is scheduled for December 20th.
